About Taylors Mistake Surf Life Saving Club
Welcome to the Taylors Mistake Surf Life Saving Club (TMSLSC). We are a volunteer organisation tasked with keeping Taylors Mistake Beach safe during the summer months. Taylors Mistake Beach is a beautiful and popular bay which is accessed by taking the road over Scarborough Hill from Sumner. Taylors Mistake is renowned for clean clear water, good surf and a great beach. This makes it very popular during the hot summer months - particularly when the Nor' west is blowing as the bay provides great shelter from this blistering wind. These conditions can keep our life guards very busy. As well as providing life guards the club is also active in surf sports which include events such as Board paddling, ski paddling, ironman and swimming. TMSLSC athletes compete in competitions and carnivals across the country and we have a proud tradition of success in these events.
