Welcome…

Welcome to the home of Taylors Mistake Surf Life Saving Club.  Primarily tasked with providing a safe beach for the public through surf patrols, we also offer junior and senior surf options.  Junior surf is focused on building a foundation of surf knowledge and water skills that will build your child’s confidence in the water.  Senior surf is competition based, and culminates in the New Zealand Surf Lifesaving Nationals, usually held in March.  A Surf Award must be obtained to participate in senior surf, and Taylors Mistake guides its members through their Surf Lifeguard Award.  This award is also necessary to participate in patrols.

We are constantly looking for new members whether it’s for Patrol or for Junior & Senior competitive Surf Lifesaving.  If you are interested, please refer to our contact us page.
