Taylors Mistake Surf Club Strategic Plan

The Taylors Mistake Surf Club works within the framework of a strategic plan which is reviewed annually. During the winter of 2008 the club undertook a significant review of the way it operates the club and a number of important initiatives are underway as a result of this process. The outcomes of this process were presented at the AGM in June 2008. We will continue to update you about specific iniatives via the club newsletter and website.

Taylors Mistake Surf Life Saving Club is committed to the prevention of drowning and injury on and around its beaches.

Strategic Objectives

Taylors Mistake Surf Life Saving endeavours to meet four key strategic objectives in order to achieve our vision and purpose.

To work with the community and Surf Life Saving Canterbury to provide Canterbury's leading beach safety service

To use surf sports as a vehicle for the recruitment & retention of members; the physical, mental & technical development of Surf Lifeguards; and the marketing of Taylors Mistake Surf Life Saving Club.

To use leadership and member development activities to ensure we maintain a viable and motivated active membership.

To efficiently and effectively manage the resources of Taylors Mistake Surf Life Saving Club.
