AGM this Sunday 29th August 11am at the club house.  All members welcome.
Attached are the surf sports and life saving calendars for the upcoming season.

Taylors Mistake sent 5 IRB crews up to the BP IRB Nationals, held at Waipu Cove on 26-28th March 2010. The IRB section of the club has been growing over the past two seasons, and we had some fantastic results leading into the National Championships. Although there were no medals won, all 5 teams competed well and we finished up 15th overall. We look forward to see what next season will hold.

Our team of 19 dedicated lifeguards brought home 5 medals and a raft of experience from the National Championships in Whakatane. The setting was perfect, with brilliant sunny days and warm water, however the waves were a little small for our liking.

Our top four Rookie Lifeguards; Taris Harker, Zoe Merrick, Ijzaak Van der Mespel, and Max Marshall competed in the Rookie Teams Challenge Competition on Saturday (March 20th) at Waimairi Beach. The team performed consistently well across all disciplines (run swim run, tube rescue, theory, CPR, first aid scenario and lifegaurd scenario) and came away with the gold medal. Congratulations to Taris, Zoe, Isjaak and Max!!
