First aid

First Aid plays a big role in surf lifesaving. Last year lifeguards around New Zealand treated 1,618 for first aid. You can do a number of first aid courses - Level 1 is your work place first aid, Level 2 is your oxygen therapy and defibrillation, and level 3 is your pre hospital emergency care course.
