Members of Taylors Mistake Surf Life Saving Club who are current lifeguards have the opportunity to represent the Club at a number of local, regional and national competitions throughout the season. These competitions include: Senior Interclub Carnivals, K-Day, Canterbury Championships, Southern Region Senior Championships, Eastern Region Senior Championships and the New Zealand Surf Life Saving Championships (Nationals).

At the beginning of each season, athletes will be asked to submit an Event Application form to assist team managers in coordinating arrangements for these events.
